All along my 8-year teaching, I have had wonderful students, and have loved the experience of constantly exploring new schemes of working with a subject so that it is informative and cool for the learner I tutor.
How I teach
My teaching approach is focused on a student: my goal is always to establish a supportive, enjoyable and pleasant atmosphere for learning to thrive.
I react actively to the needs of every single person I mentor, building my teaching manner so that it fully complies with their individuality and skill levels.
I also think that learners grasp great if they're working on exersises connected to their studies. This shows making rhymes, presentations, drawing pictures, writing tasks, using games, and other methods of collaboration, which makes students active and amazed when it comes to the topic.
I teach expertly and thoroughly, quickly analysing places for maintenance, and then using easy pattern spotting strategies (when appropriate). I pay attention to making simple tasks for the child make their special perception of the problem. It is a real joy to find interesting and new methods of presenting the topic so that it is interesting and always fresh for both sides.
The psychology of tutoring mathematics
With the help of humour, patience, and encouragement, I continually make every effort to teach my learners that they can much more than they realise.
I trust that my desire to adjust teaching techniques in compliance with the necessities of students, subject matter, and student demographics are all important for my ability to be strong as a trainer.
I base my teaching on the position that the only way to uncover mathematics is to do maths. Although the process of reading proofs and examples in textbooks and from lecture notes is of value, the real comprehension comes through solving mathematical problems, either theoretical, computational, or both.
I have also spotted that creating tasks that directly relate to the learner's own life can ease their learning the topic and understanding its usage.
